REMEMBER THE 39

On May 29 1985, 39 football fans died when a wall collapsed at the Heysel stadium in Belgium. What should have been one of the greatest nights in the club’s history turned into a nightmare.

Senior club officials will be joined by representatives from Juventus at a private ceremony at midday on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s anniversary.

Phil Neal, our captain from 1985, will perform the unveiling duties.
