Debut

Coutinho debut goal Anfield Liverpool FC Swansea

the first of very many!

STILL WET BEHIND THE EARS

I’ll tell you who… Jack Robinson is now Liverpool’s youngest ever player as of today when he came on late today replacing Ryan Babel against Hull City today ….. aged a fresh 16 years and 250 days!

Our new Warrington-born, record-breaking defender broke a record set by Max Thompson, who made his debut at the age of 17 years and 129 days in 1974.

Jack, who incredibly hasn’t even played for the reserves yet, first trained with the first team ahead of our Europa League clash with Benfica in March.

Rafa explains,

Jack was okay. He was a little bit shy at first, a little bit quiet. But the senior players were helping and supporting him. The first training session is never easy but little by little he was better.”
