So many friends have died
And how the angels cried
Yet those who could bring some small relief (politicians)
Just run away and hide

we mourn yet another Hillsborough victim

Stephen Whittle, whose friend died in the Hillsborough disaster of 1989, threw himself in front of a train nearly 23 years later as he  felt unrelenting guilty at having sold his friend his ticket.

Stephen,  aged 50 & from Wigan, suffered many years of both anxiety and depression since that terrible day

Stephen ultimately jumped in front of a train between stations in Daisy Hill, Westhoughton, and Hag Fold, Atherton earlier this year on on February 26th.

Bless your heart & RIP  Stephen.
